How the Green Loan Process Works
Getting started with a green loan is usually straightforward. While each bank has its own criteria, the process typically follows these steps:
Contact Simply Heat
Get in touch with our team to discuss your home and what you’re looking to achieve — whether that’s a ducted heat pump, ventilation, or another energy-efficient heating solution. We’ll help you understand the best options for your space and budget.
We Provide a Detailed Quote
We’ll carry out a site visit (if required) and provide a formal, itemised quote for your heating system. This quote is what most banks require to approve a green loan or low-interest home loan top-up.
Apply for a Green Loan with Your Bank
Take the Simply Heat quote to your bank and apply for their green loan or sustainable home loan top-up. Your bank will confirm:
- Loan amount and interest rate
- Eligibility and conditions
- Approval timeframe
Many banks offer low-interest or interest-free periods specifically for energy-efficient upgrades.
Confirm & Install
Once your loan is approved, let us know and we’ll schedule your installation at a time that suits you.
